Canada’s Super Visa Program Has Been Improved

Beginning July 4, 2022, the Canadian government will improve its family reunification process for applicants under Canada’s super visa programme. The super visa is a multi-entry visa that permits parents and grandparents to stay in Canada for two years at a time. It is usually good for ten years. These newest measures, according to the government, are intended to recruit, retain, and integrate immigrants in Canada. The super visa programme, which was established in 2011, allows Canadian citizens and permanent residents to spend extended time with their parents and grandparents in Canada.

The period of stay for super visa holders will be increased to five years per entrance, with the ability to request a two-year extension of stay while in Canada. From July 4, 2022, the government will ensure that super visa applicants are covered by recognised international medical insurance providers.

What Are The Changes ?
