Business Innovation 188

There are five visa streams under the Subclass 188 Visa:

Business Innovation Stream [points tested]: It necessitates using the SkillSelect procedure to submit an application. There is a “Points Test,” an English Language requirement, and an EOI requirement in this procedure. If you have had a subclass 188 visa for three years, you can apply for a two-year extension through the Business Innovation stream, giving you a total of six years (temporary status) from the date of award of the initial visa.

Investor Stream [points tested]: Applicants who make a specific investment in an Australian state or territory are eligible. Before proceeding to Permanent Residency, the principal candidate must spend two years in Australia.

Significant Investor Stream: Applicants must make a (minimum) $5 million investment in Australia to qualify. Applicants with the Business Innovation & Investment (Permanent) Subclass 888 visa may be able to seek for permanent residence after four years.

Under Australian taxes rules, the income you make from your compliant investment in Australia is taxed.

You must also demonstrate a sincere and realistic commitment to continue your business and investment activities in Australia after your provisional visa expires.

You, your partner (spouse or de facto), or both of you, must have net assets of at least AUD15 million that were lawfully acquired, are unencumbered, and can be utilized to make the required investment in Australia.

You and your partner should not have engaged in any unethical commercial or investing practices.

You, your partner, and any other family members above the age of 18 must agree not to sue the Commonwealth for any losses incurred as a result of your compliant investment.
